About Us
RN Engineering & Development Sdn Bhd (RN) was originally founded as Kembangan Kemayan Sdn Bhd in 2006 by its current Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Rohaizard Hj Nawi.
Set up at birth to become a diversified general contracting firm that is distingushed by integrity, quality and teamwork. RN grew steadily in its early years and quickly established an encouraging reputation in the local construction industry. Within a very short span of time, RN‘s portfolio of work expanded beyond Klang Valley, spreading to states such as Melaka, Perak, Kelantan and Johor.
RN is currently a full bumiputera status company registered both with PKK (A-Class) and CIDB (G7) as Civil and Mechanical Contractor. It is also an ISO9000 a credited company under the CIDB program. Moving forward, RN intends to expand its engineering wings, particularly into the local oil and gas as well as marine sectors. The move is aimed at preparing RN in its quest to become a consolidated technology based developmental organization in Malaysia.e

DATO’ ROHAIZARD HJ NAWI
Managing Director
Born in Kelantan in 1971, Dato’ Rohaizard studied at Coventry University United Kingdom and graduated with Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical (Automotive) in 1995. The following year he joined a renowned automaker, serving the outfit for almost 10 years before deciding to start up his own business. In 2006 RN Engineering & Development Sdn Bhd was conceived.
While he steered RN in its formative years, he also managed to obtain his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Open University Malaysia. In 2009, in a move to ensure that his company practices a universally recognized standard of organizational management, Dato’ Rohaizard piloted RN into obtaining the ISO 9001 certification.
Under his leadership, RN was quick to establish itself in the local construction industry with footprints over most part of Peninsular Malaysia. The company actively participated in government as well as selected private tenders, landing substantial number of projects in Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu and Johor. Dato’ Rohaizard is an ordinary member of the Board of Engineer Malaysia and true to his passion, he aspires for RN to become a platform for young engineers to polish their foundational skills.
